33 JACOB’S PEACE WITH ESAU

What
did Jacob do when he saw Esau coming to meet him? (Gen. 33:1-3)
Ans: He divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and his two servant wives. ..“

order did Jacob place the mothers and children? (Gen. 33:2)
Ans: The handmaids and their children foremost, Leah and her children, Rachel and Joseph hindmost.

Esau received Jacob? (Gen. 33:4)
Ans: “Esau ran to meet Jacob and embraced him; he threw his arms around his neck, kissed him as he wept”.

Jacob said, “They are the children
whom God has graciously given your servant”.

He set up an altar there and called it “El Elohe”.
