GREAT TRAGEDY
1.What responsibility were Noah and his sons given? (Gen. 9:1,7)
Ans: “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill
the earth.
2.What was mankind allowed to eat after the flood? (Gen 9: 3-4)
Ans: “Everything that lives and moves
about … the green plants, … everything”.
3.Why forbidden to
kill another man? What reason is given there off (Gen.9:6).
Ans: “Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; ["For the life of the flesh is in the blood ... for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. Lev. 17:11] .For in the image of God has God made mankind.
4.Who was the first man to plant a
vineyard?
(Gen. 9:20). Ans: Noah
5.What did Ham do that displeased
Noah and Why Noah cursed his son Ham and his
descendants? (Gen. 9:22).
Ans: Ham looked at his father's nakedness and Noah
cursed him and his children (Canaan) for doing it.
6.Who is the father
of Canaan? (Gen. 9:18)
Ans: Ham is the father of the Canaan.
7. Explain the meaning of verse 19. “…. from them came the people who
were scattered over the whole earth”. Ans: Adam through Noah, all are from one blood
(Acts 17:26). But since the great Flood all
people came from the three sons of Noah and their wives (Ref. 10:32).
8. After the flood, How many years Noah lived?(Gen. 9:29)
Ans: Noah lived 350 years
after the Flood.
9. How long did Noah live altogether?
Ans: Noah lived for 950
years (Gen.9:29).
12. Give
N.T. Reference as evident that Jesus believed Noah existed and that the flood
really happened?
Ans: Mat. 24:37-39 “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. …That is how it will be at the coming
of the Son of Man”.
